Weekend Update
November 29, 2013.

Bio 20- No homework! We will finish the squid dissection question on Monday and move onto Arthropods.

Bio 30- Begin studying for your exam. Exam date is Wednesday December 4, 2013. Interactive Notebooks are due this day as well.

Science 90- Finish your readings and questions on Cancer from the text book. Monday we will do the Microscope/Mitosis Lab.

Hi all!

Bio 20- Tomorrow we will be finishing our notes on phylum mollusca and then viewing a BBC Earth video on the creatures of the deep! We have a bit to finish still in this unit but your exam will be Tuesday December 10th if you would like to start preparing! The exam will cover all invertebrates so Phylum Porifera to Phylum Echinodermata.

Bio 30- Tomorrow we will look at the synapses that form between neurons and how neurons will chemically communicate with each other. On Thursday we will be finishing the last topic in the Nervous System which is nerve transmissions. Your unit exam that covers both the endocrine system and the nervous system is Wednesday December 4th.

Sci 90- Your electricity exam is tomorrow. As you are studying tonight be sire to focus on the outline I gave you last week as it will help you narrow down your studying. A reminder that your Interactive Notebook is due tomorrow as well.

Bio20- Tomorrow we will continue our look at Phylum Platyhelminthes. There is no homework specifically, but I have the notes up in the link to the right as well as the video if you want to view it again.

Bio 30- Exam is tomorrow and INs are due tomorrow. Please don't worry too much about the practice test. Your outline that I gave you earlier in the week is specific to the test and will help guide your studying as I wrote that outline while looking directly at your test. A lot of the questions are about the structures specifically and what they do. I would also focus your studying on putting the major events in order, especially for things like the breathing cycle and the heart beat cycle. Remember that you will have a choice in which written response you want to do so you can prepare and answer the one you know best. One question will be about the circulatory system and the heart, the other is about the respiratory system and the lungs. Take a deep breath and don't panic.

Sci 90- Please make sure your assignment on batteries is completed for tomorrow, we will also go through the work from Wednesday tomorrow. I have posted your power point notes to this blog now. Just click on the link to the right and it will take you to my Google drive. You can read through the notes or print any if you miss a day of class.

Bio 20- Excellent work today guys on the 2 first phyla in the animal kingdom. Tomorrow we begin the 3rd phylum, Platyhelminthes.

Bio 30- Also very good work today ladies and gentleman. Please make sure to have all your worksheets done for tomorrow. I will have practice multiple choice for you tomorrow. Test is Friday, IN is due Friday!

Sci 90- You have your worksheet and questions from the text to do about Voltage/Current/Resistance. Tomorrow we will finish of chapter 7.1

Not much happening today but here are just a few reminders.

Bio 20- Continue working on all INs and text assignments as this will build up quickly this unit.

Bio 30- Your exam date has been changed to Friday, please bring questions for review tomorrow. Tomorrow will be your last opportunity for work and questions in class before we move on to the next unit. Feel free to review any videos in the link to the right.

Science 90- We wrapped up chapter 8.1 today and moved on to Chapter 7.1. If you want to see the Bill Nye Video again follow the link to the right.

Hello and yay for long weekends!! There shouldn't be too terribly much homework for you all, but here are just a few reminders.

Bio 20- We have finished the first group of animals now, Phylum Porifera. All notes and videos are posted and you can find them by following the links to the right. Please have your text assignment for Phylum Porifera done for Tuesday so we can take it up. Keep up with your interactive notebooks too!

Bio 30- We have finished all the body systems that will be covered on your exam this coming Thursday, November 14th. On Tuesday we will do a little more work on the immune system to sort it all out and we will have time for work and review. Please consider beginning your studying this weekend.

Science 90- We have finished our wind turbine inquiry. Please have your good copy ready to hand in on Tuesday as well as the work for the rest of chapter 8.1 done.

Hi all! Let's re-cap this week and make sure everyone is up to date.

Bio 20- If you didn't hand in your IN with your exam on Tuesday please make sure I get it. Notes for the Animal Kingdom Intro have been posted as well as the video. We will finish Phylum Porifera tomorrow.

Bio 30-Notes for the circulatory system have been posted as well as the videos. We will do the immune system tomorrow and should be finished all the notes Monday. Your exam will be Thursday November14th.

Science 90-Good work on your wind turbines. We will do the good copy and write up for the lab tomorrow.
